Water Use Update - 28/11/18

Rain is helping water the garden in Katherine

Water use continues to decrease as welcome rain becomes more regular. We achieved a commendable result of just an average of 6.9 million litres per day last week.

Now is the time to review your lawn and garden watering schedule and consider turning off programmed timers. While watering your garden less can be challenging, we appreciate your efforts and commitment to reducing your water use this way.

The Compulsory Water Conservation Measures are essential to help us manage the water supply and deliver you safe drinking water.

Thank you for helping us keep Katherine’s water safe and reducing average daily water use to less than 8.5 million litres per day.

Living Water Smart's Garden Tune Up provides a free garden irrigation audit at your home or business by one of our registered irrigation experts. The irrigator will reprogram your irrigation controller to provide your garden with the water it needs, when it needs it. It also includes up to $50 of on-the-spot irrigation repairs.
